Macro Establishes Three Advanced Technology Groups
Macro Engineering & Technology Inc. from Mississauga, Ontario has established three Advanced Technology Groups to better meet the demands of its customers and support its current business expansion. The three groups are: Blown Film headed by Dr. Felix Guberman, Cast Film/Extrusion Coating headed by Dr. Alberto Rincon, and Biax Shrink Films headed by Dr. Harinder Tamber.
Dr. Felix Guberman has a Master Degree in Material Engineering and a Ph.D. in Material Sciences from the Moscow Energy Institute. Prior to joining Macro in 2002 Dr. Guberman accumulated over 25 years of experience in film manufacturing working with leading companies in Russia, Israel and Germany.
Dr. Alberto Rincon is a Mechanical Engineer with a Ph.D. in Polymer Processing and Coextrusion Flow Simulation from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Dr. Rincon has over 15 years of experience in plastics processing. Having joined Macro recently, he worked for over 7 years with Extrusion Dies Industries (EDI) and Cloeren Incorporated.
Dr. Harinder Tamber has an undergraduate in Applied Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from SUNY-ESF at Syracuse, New York. Dr. Tamber has over 20 years of experience in plastics processing and flexible packaging, owns 4 U.S. patents, has authored various publications, and made several presentations in packaging conferences in North America, Europe and Asia.
